Contemporary I: with a strong ballet base/ 1st & 2nd grades/Thursdays 4:45 - 5:45pm
A wonderful dance experience for young dancers, this class begins with a contemporary technique warm-up which includes a strong and essential ballet base. The class offers children the opportunity to create their own imaginative dance stories. Working in small groups, young dancers will collaborate on their story line and choose their own music to dance their story to. This fusion of imagination and dance technique creates an experience of the joy and creative qualities of dance while increasing each student's skill set.
