Level 3: Junior Student Company with Contemporary Technique
6th-8th grades meets 6:30- 7:45 (14 Session) $700
Level 4: Senior Student Company with Contemporary Technique
9th-12th grades meets 7:15- 8:30 ( 14 Sessions) $700
This newer schedule allows for more focus on the technique level that these 2 age groups need. By separating Level 3 and Level 4 technique, we are encouraging dancers to excel and to benefit from a focused curriculum geared exactly to their age and ability group. Our Student Company curriculums include a range of techniques, choreography workshops, specific performance skills and an exploration of individual interpretation. Guest Artists will teach at inervals. Comapny dancers will be preparing for our Student Choreography Performance in New York at The Ailey Studios
early in the Winter/Spring semester.
NOTE: ALL Student Company dancers must be approved. We want to be sure the Student Company with Level 3 or Level 4 technique is the right match. Please reach out to Lydia to discuss placement. Lydia@lydiajohnsondance.org
